Aged for eight years in former bourbon casks in Panama, where it absorbs some beautiful caramel and vanilla notes, as well as a slight hint of nutmeg and clove spice, before being finished in mature Irish Whiskey casks, which had a previous life as an Amarone wine cask from Northern Italy.
