This Imperial Stout was fermented with Norwegian Kveik yeast at high temperatures and then aged in Palo Cortado Sherry barrels. The complexity in this beer is unique, with its 9 different cereals in the grist and a very long brewing process, the body and the velvety texture of Oseberg are combined with important fermentation notes of light orange peel coming from the Kveik yeast that mix together beautifully with a spectrum of flavours that those staves have absorbed over the years from the Palo Cortado aging: dried fruits, tobacco and red fruits above them all. An important drink that we imagine is best enjoyed on a couch with your best friend in front of a fireplace, smoothening a cold season evening.
